Anda mungkin biasa menggunakan Sistem Operasi (OS) Windows, LINUX, atau Mac. Pernahkah anda terfikir bagaimana OS ini tercipta? Atau mungkin terfikir untuk menggunakan OS ciptaan sendiri? 

Disini anda berpeluang untuk mencipta OS sendiri secara online iaitu Sistem Operasi Linux. Tiada kemahiran teknikal yang diperlukan untuk mewujudkan sendiri OS Linux online ini. Linux adalah kernel, boleh digunakan untuk mewujudkan Sistem Operasi. Sistem Operasi yang dicipta menggunakan kernel Linux dipanggil Sistem Operasi Linux. Contoh Sistem Operasi Linux adalah Ubuntu dan SUSE. Disini, untuk mencipta Sistem Operasi sendiri, anda tidak perlu handal dalam komputer atau menjadi jurutera program, sebaliknya anda hanya perlu ke website : SUSE Studio.

Program SUSE Studio ini dilancarkan oleh komuniti Sistem Operasi SUSE, bertujuan untuk membantu anda mencipta Sistem Operasi sendiri secara online dan percuma. Anda hanya perlu melawat susestudio.com.

Daftar akaun anda, pilih pakej asas dan persekitaran desktop anda, 32 bit atau 64 bit dan kemudian sesuaikan mengikut kehendak anda seperti Logo, perisian dan lain-lain sebaik selesai mencipta Sistem Operasi Linux anda.

Kemudian, klik pada 'build' dan download image ISO untuk burn ke CD/DVD. Dan akhir sekali, guna CD/DVD tersebut untuk install OS ciptaan anda sama caranya seperti anda install Linux atau Windows. Selamat mencuba.

[English] Sparky Linux 2.1 - Game Over

Brand new, two egged SparkyLinux 2.1 ‘GameOver’ is out.
It’s the second, special edition of SparkyLinux ‘GameOver” released for Easter 2013.
It has been directly built on SparkyLinux 2.1 ‘Eris’ and Debian testing ‘Wheezy’.
All packages have been synchronized with Debian testing repos of 24/03/2013.

They made a few big changes so new system features:
- Linux kernel 3.2 i386 for old PC’s
- Linux kernel 3.8-liquorix (option) i686-pae for modern PC’s designed for multimedia and gaming
- libc6 has been updated up to 2.17 from experimental repo
- customized LXDE desktop
- Iceweasel, VLC, Leafpad, Pidgin, Transmission, XChat and a few important apps
- Flash, Java, multimedia codecs, VLC plugin for Iceweasel
- Desura for Linux
- Steam for Linux has been updated up to the latest, stable version
- Wine 1.4.1 (1.5.22 available in repo)
- PlayOnLinux 4.2
- xz compression reducted iso image about 10%
- full system installation on USB stick
- bugs fixing and a few cosmetics changes

This time Steam has been installed in ‘normal’ way, means there is the launcher and all dependencies installed only.

It needs to apply the agreement and download the client on first run.
SparkyLinux ‘GameOver’ is available as a large DVD media of 3.2 GB.
For hard drive installation you need minimum 15 – 20 GB of free space (30 GB recommended).
Full USB installation needs 32 GB Pen Drive.
CPU i386 minimum or newer.
Minimum, recommended RAM memory is 512MB – bigger, better.
SWAP partition 512 – 1024MB.

LENOVO Diagnostics

Perisian utilities untuk produk Lenovo/IBM ini adalah keluaran khas PC Doctor yang digunakan untuk menguji keseluruhan sistem, CPU, RAM dan juga hardisk. Walaupun begitu, kini perisian percuma ini sudah tidak boleh diperolehi lagi kerana kontrak antara syarikat Lenovo dengan PC Doctor sudah tamat. Oleh itu, perisian ini hanya berfungsi untul model-model komputer dan laptop Lenovo/IBM dalam anggaran tahun 2005 hingga 2011. Untuk model-model yang baru, syarikat Lenovo telah mengeluarkan perisian Diagnostics yang baru dan boleh didapati di http://support.lenovo.com.

Download dan install ke USB Drive saiz minima 1Gb, kemudian boot USB tersebut.
